History
The NIHONBUYO Association is an association established in 1955 with the aim of contributing to the development of culture through the spread of the traditional performing art “NIHONBUYO.” Following the enforcement of the public interest system reform in 2008, in April 2012, the Prime Minister approved the transition of the organization to a public interest incorporated association.
Currently, there are 108 schools and approximately 3,700 dancers,as well as 26 branches nationwide.
In addition to hosting NIHONBUYO performances, we are engaged in various activities that transcend dance schools, such as children's experience projects and lectures for the general public.
